Created in the 1970s and an integral part of the World Series by Renault since 2005, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 is undergoing a revamp this season as it looks to consolidate its status as a key category in the development of young drivers.

Three of the seven World Series by Renault meetings on the 2015 calendar will feature three races instead of the customary two, an innovation that will see drivers contest a total of 17 races over the season. This year’s champion driver will collect a grant of €500,000 to help them make the move up to Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2016.
