In a watered and marked by little activity on track session, Edoardo Mortara has led the first practice session in Hockenheim. Behind the Italian we find Ekström and Wickens second and third respectively.
First practice session of the DTM season and start under a rain at Hockenheim. Nevertheless the drivers went to roll out and gain experience in the rain with their new car because tomorrow’s first race it could be given under these conditions.
Slowly the track was improving and times went down to a 1:55 to 1:50 has Mortara past 15 minutes of the session.
While there it would stay, because the drivers would roll but not to mark time but to make kilometers because the track was not to risk much.
First impressions, Audi very scattered with Ekström and Mortara in the first two positions, the vast majority of the Mercedes in the middle of the table and BMW save Wittmann and Glock at the bottom, we will see tomorrow in the classification if there is a twist in the events or if everything will be similar to today’s image.
