Matias Laine said: “I’m excited about the season ahead. I learnt so much last year with Strakka Racing and I think another year with the team will help me put the knowledge and experience I have gained in 2013 to my advantage in 2014.”

Mike Henderson, Team Manager and Chief Engineer for the World Series by Renault team, said: “It’s fantastic that both Will and Matias will continue to work with Strakka for the season ahead, having already established great relationships with the whole team. We had a strong season in 2013 with 15 top 10 finishes and securing sixth place in the team’s championship above Lotus. Looking ahead to this season, I think the combination of an unchanged driver line-up and a fast car puts us in an promising position to challenge both the drivers and teams championship.”

Operations Manager at Strakka Racing, Dan Walmsley, said: “The team put on a dominant performance during the end of season test at the Motorland Aragon Circuit in November as we officially became Strakka Racing.  We have a lot to look forward to in 2014 with such skilled drivers, and an experienced team behind them.”
