The Catalan Marc Márquez concludes an amazing dominant weekend at Austin, U. S. A. for the Americas GP. Now he is leading the driver’s championship with 16 points of distance between Dani Pedrosa who is second. Dovizioso close the podium. Let’s see what they said.
1st Marc Márquez, Repsol Honda Team: “Yeah, I’m really happy with the victory. We did a different kind of race, that until now, I never lead the race from the first lap to the end and this time was a little bit strange, was difficult to keep the concentration but in the end, I lose a little bit on last lap, and you know the race was too quiet so for my mechanics, for my family I did some show on the last corner but anyway, we’re so happy for this 25 points.”
2nd Daniel Pedrosa, Repsol Honda Team: “It was a tension moment [when Lorenzo jumps the start] because when I see him that he was passing I thought maybe I was wrong but afortunatly I did good, the I try to do the best race I could but Mar was today just faster I couldn’t follow the pace. So, finally second place which is good but sure try to improve a little more and I happy for the result.”
3rd Andrea Dovizioso, Ducati: “We work very well during the practice but we didn’t have the pace to fight for the podium but we weren’t so far. So, this is the result to try it, push a 100% to get it some special for us. We still not fastest how we want but I want to say thank you to the team, all the people who trust on me because is very hard racing like this.”
