Jorge Lorenzo has taken the 2015 MotoGP championship in front of his crow at Valencia, Spain. The Yamaha rider won in front of compatriots Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa. Rossi finished fourth after comeback from last.

Comunitat Valenciana Grand Prix will be remembered as one of the most important in motorbike history. Jorge Lorenzo started leading the way starting from first position followed by Repsol Honda Team rider who made a big gap with the others.

Andrea Iannone who was riding on that fourth position crashed out at turn 12 and had to retire. Meanwhile his compatriot, Valentino Rossi comeback from last to 15th in one lap and then managed to take the fourth place. The Italian finished the race in this position because he hasn’t enough pace to catch top 3 pilots.

It was a similar race like Indianapolis for Marc Márquez who was all time in second place, getting ready for a final attack with 3 laps to go, moment when Pedrosa –who was saving tyres all race, catch his team mate and overtook him at turn 3. But the Castellar del Vallès rider went wide at turn 8 and let Márquez go, who seen how his wining options were over.

So it was a dominant win and weekend for Jorge Lorenzo who is crown 5 times world champion. Emotional win for the Spanish driver who quoted this race as the most important of his whole career.

So Lorenzo now have two championships in 250cc -2006, 2007, and three more in MotoGP -2010, 2012 and 2015, with 40 wins and 97 podiums in the top motorbike series.

The 2015 season is over but the 2016 starts this Tuesday with the testing session in Valencia.
