Kyle Kaiser has taken pole position for Indy Lights race 1 at the streets of Toronto, Ontario (Canada). Championship leader beat title contender, Matheus Leist and Zachary Claman de Melo.

In the first minutes of the session, Santiago Urrutia (Belardi Auto Racing) was the quickest on track with a lap-time of 1:07.8402 but then rookie, Colton Herta (Andretti Steinbrenner Racing managed to improve one second that lap.

Anyway, the American couldn’t stop the Californian Kyle Kaiser (Juncos Racing) who took the first place at halfway of the session until the checker flag.

He will start from pole position ahead of impressive Matheus Leist (Carlin) and Zachary Claman de Melo. Herta and his team-mate Dalton Kellet (Andretti Autosport) completes the top5.
