Kevin Jörg converted his pole position into a victory during the Race 2 of the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC at the Red Bull Ring.
Coincidence or not, today’s grid is the same as yesterday’s results with Kevin Jörg in pole position followed by Delétraz, Daruvala and Gill.
From the start, Kevin Jörg was able to maintain his lead while Delétraz was overtaken by Daruvala.
Yesterday’s winner, Kevin Jörg managed to escape the battle for second place taking place between Daruvala and Delétraz. Behind them were Gill Eastwood Zaruba, O’Keeffe, Sasahara, Habsburg and Defourny.
After many attacks, Delétraz (Josef Kaufmann Racing) managed to beat Daruvala (Fortec Motosport) who would later be attacked by Gill (Fortec Motorsports). The Briton later beat his teammate to climb on the podium.
Behind, O’Keeffe (Fortec Motorsports) beat Zaruba (AVF) for the sixth place.
This is the second victory of the weekend for Kevin Jörg who managed to cut the gap in the championship with Delétraz Sasahara. Delétraz finished second in the race while Gill completed the podium.
