The fourth race of the IndyCar will take place in the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The main straight of this circuit crosses the spectacular ‘sambodromo’ of Anhembi, an unusual place for a race circuit. The layout is not the most interesting of the year, because it consists of chicanes, bends of ninety degrees, long straigths and a tight hairpin, but it offers a lot of chances for overtaking, so races here are quite interesting.

Let’s do a virtual lap to the street circuit of Anhemb, clicking here or below this article.

Despite what we see in the video, this year the enormous curbs in Turn 1 and 2 have been lowered, and Turn 2 is now quite wider. It will make it less difficult for drivers to go through the corner when they arrive on parallel with another car.

This will be the fourth edition of this race. Until now, only Will Power has been able to win it, but he isn’t in his best moment, having had bad luck on previous races.

Helio Castroneves comes to his home race leading the championship, in front of Takuma Sato, who won an impressive race at Long Beach, and Scott Dixon, very consistent.
