Marc Marquez will start tomorrow from pole position tomorrow after a fantastic qualifying lap around Motorland Aragon’s track destroying his own lap record. Jorge Lorenzo will start second, and Andrea Iannone third.
First surprised in the qualifying arrived in Q1, when Andrea Dovizioso finished third, being out of the Q2. The two Pramac Ducati’s finished first and second, wining the official Ducati of Dovi. Scott Redding finished 4th and will start tomorrow from P14.
Q2 started with the sun shining and warm track, typical Spanish weather.
Marc Marquez started dominating the session, with two stunning laps, that put the Spanish driver on top with the new track record, followed by Jorge Lorenzo and his teammate, Dani Pedrosa.
On his second try, Marquez fell in turn 2, but nobody could beat him, and he finished the session on top. With him in the front row, will start Lorenzo and Iannone. Second row is for Pol Espargaro, Pedrosa and Rossi, and the third row is for Aleix Espargaro, Cal Crutchlow and Danilo Petrucci.
