Callum Ilott and Lance Stroll were the fastest in the two practice sessions of FIA Formula 3 European championship at Nürburgring, Germany.

In the sunny Nürburgring, Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) set the fastest time of first practice session, ahead of the local guy, David Beckmann (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport) and George Russell (Hitech GP).

They were followed by Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing), Mikkel Jensen (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport) and the championship leader, Lance Stroll (Prema Powerteam) who then was the fastest on practice two.

The Canadian finished ahead of his team mate, Maximilian Günther and the Red Bull Junior driver, Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark). Completes the top 5 Hubert and Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam).

This afternoon the drivers will participate in the two qualifying sessions to decide the grid of the three races this weekend.
