The rider from Ducati, Andrea Iannone finished as the fastest in practice 3 of MotoGP for the Grand Prix of France. Lorenzo finished second in front his compatriot Pol Espargaró.

The Atlantic weather of Le Mans couldn’t stop the sun for today’s qualifying day for MotoGP. But before the qualifying, practice 3 early this morning decided the ten drivers who got the access to Q2.

Lorenzo continued on his consistence pace in front of Iannone and Márquez during the session.

It was a difficult session for Suzuki of Aleix Espargaró who will have to ride in Q1. The Catalan, had crashed at last turn and only finished 13th. Esteve Rabat also crashed.

In the final lap, Iannone ride just behind Lorenzo to take the first place of the standings. Behind them finished Pol Espargaró third, Márquez fourth, Viñales fifth, Pedrosa sixth, Rossi seventh, Dovizioso eight, Smith ninth and Crutchlow tenth.
