Christian Horner faced an independent barrister in the allegation by Red Bull Racing, but there will be no quick resolution to the matter.
The formal investigation into the Horner matter kicked-off in an unknown location in London on Friday, with the first interview done by an independent barrister as appointed by Red Bull GmbH. It is investigation an allegation laid down by a Red Bull Racing employee.
It relates to inappropriate behaviour on a female employee, which points towards controlling and coercive behaviour by Horner. The Red Bull F1 team principal denies any of it and wants to clear his name from the mess which hits his reputation.
As per Sky Sports F1’s Craig Slater, the meet lasted about eight hours which included a break for lunch. But there is no resolution as of now. It is already been said that it will take more time as whatever is discussed will have to be presented to the Red Bull GmbH board.
The timeline has not been set for a conclusion on the matter and so Red Bull will have manage the launch due on February 15, the pre-season test between February 21-23 and eventual start of 2024 F1 season with the Bahrain GP on February 29.
It has been said that Horner has visited Milton Keynes already to prepare for next week’s launch. As known, the racing team isn’t communicating on the matter, with Austria’s Red Bull GmbH the only way of communication on this investigation.
