Lewis Hamilton has been the fastest during the last practice session of the Bahrain Grand Prix. This Practice shows us that the Ferrari are more closer than ever with the Mercedes, in qualifying conditions and on race conditions too.

The Williams of Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa also got within a second of Hamilton, with Lotus’s Pastor Maldonado leading the chasing pack in seventh. Completing the top ten were Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo, Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg and Sauber’s Felipe Nasr.

It was a tough session for Ricciardo’s team mate Daniil Kvyat, who spun out into the gravel after just four laps. Some slick work from the marshals and the Red Bull mechanics, however, got the Russian back on track in the final three minutes and he eventually finished in P12.
