Lewis Hamilton has been the fastest of the second free practice in the Austrian Red Bull Ring circuit. Rosberg finished second, and third Alonso. ç

The session has started with Marcus Ericsson as the first to go out on track, a normal thing, but after all something positive because of the time he lost in FP1. Sutil did the same.

Button has started leading a session where all the drivers have suffered some off track at Turn 8 and 1, which is explained in part by the strong wind area in Estria. But then Fernando Alonso had a time of less than 1:10.000 and climbed to first place, but again Hamilton and Rosberg would take first place. From this time the drivers started their race simulations where Mercedes proved to be the strongest with a rate of around 1min 12 seconds compared to 1min 14 seconds of the Red Bull and the Ferrari of Alonso. However the rate of Williams was 1min 13 seconds.
