The chequered flag has dropped on the 2013 GP2 Series season last Sunday in Abu Dhabi, but the Yas Marina Circuit will host three days of post-season testing from Tuesday November 5th to Thursday November 7th with a lot of new faces joining the field.

On Day 1, newly crowned FR 3.5L champion Kevin Magnussen will test with DAMS whilst runner up Stoffel Vandoorme will line up at ART Grand Prix alongside Arthur Pic. Former GP3 driver Nico Mueller will jump in the Arden car whilst Jazeman Jaafar and Carlos Sainz will test with Carlin. GP2 Series Champions RUSSIAN TIME will work with Artem Markelov, and this season’s GP3 Series vice champion Facu Regalia will test with EQ8 Caterham Racing. Nikolay Martsenko joins Barwa Addax Team for the day whilst Sandy Stuvik joins Rapax. European Formula 3 Champion Raffaele Marciello will test with Trident Racing, Andre Negrao and Denis Nagulin will work with Hilmer Motorsport and Venezuela GP Lazarus respectively. Finally, Will Stevens will test with MP Motorsport.

As for the familiar faces, Stéphane Richelmi, Alexander Rossi and Daniel De Jong will stay respectively with DAMS, EQ8 Caterham Racing and MP Motorsport for the day. Rene Binder will move to Arden International, Rio Haryanto and Jolyon Palmer to Racing Engineering, Mitch Evans to RUSSIAN TIME, Julian Leal to Trident Racing, Daniel Abt to Hilmer Motorsport and Johnny Cecotto to Venezuela GP Lazarus. Rodolfo Gonzalez returns to GP2 testing with Barwa Addax Team. Finally, Simon Trummer who has confirmed he will drive with Rapax again in 2014 will test with his team.

The sessions will run from 12.00 to 14.30 and from 18.00 to 20.30 the GP2 cars sharing track time with the GP3 cars. Pirelli have nominated the Medium compounds for the three days.
