Following the qualifying session for the Austrian Grand Prix of GP2 Series, three drivers got penalized.

As such, Sergio Canamasas, was found guilty of ignoring the blue flags he was being shown and impeded Arthur Pic during the Frenchman’s flying lap. The Spaniard get a three-place-penalty and will start from P17 tomorrow.

Nicholas Latifi has been found guilty of impeding Pierre Gasly when the latter was improving on his best time and could challenge Sergey Sirotkin for pole position. Same sanction for the Canadian who will start from P20.

Nabil Jeffri was found guilty of not slowing down under yellow flags, he even improved his sector under yellow flags. He also gets a three-place-penalty and will start P14.

Let’s also remind Jimmy Eriksson got a three-place-penalty after a collision during Baku’s sprint race, he will start P22 and last on the grid.
