Timo Glock has secured pole position for the first race of the DTM weekend at the Zandvoort Park circuit.

Under ideal weather conditions, BMW drivers have managed to outpace their rivals.

Timo Glock has set the best lap with a 1:27.823. The German has led a BMW quartet, beating Augusto Farfus by less than a tenth of a second. They have been followed by the champion Marco Wittmann and Maxime Martin.

The best Audi driver has been, once again, René Rast, in fifth position, with a surprising Loic Duval right behind him.

Seventh place for Tom Blomqvist, followed by the best Mercedes, Gary Paffet.

Top 10 positions were completed by two candidates for the Audi title, Mike Rockenfeller and Matias Ekström.
