Lance Stroll has taken another deserved pole position in FIA Formula 3 European championship at Imola, Italy. The Williams junior still have no rival despite an interesting qualifying where the two Red Bull juniors finished next to him.

Lance Stroll is once again on pole position. The Prema Powerteam driver had to battle until the and after the checker flag, because the qualifying was really disputed.

The Canadian took the pole position by 0.1 seconds of Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark) and Niko Kari (Motopark), which means that both Red Bull Junior drivers finished on top3.

The German team had a good qualifying with Joel Eriksson seventh, and Guanyu Zhou tenth.

The Imola experimented drivers, George Russell (Hitech GP), Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) finished on fourth, fifth and sixth position, respectively.

The session had a red flag caused by FormulaRapida.net supported driver, David Beckmann (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport) who went off and stopped in the gravel. Despite that, the German finished ninth, just behind Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing).

What is clear that the only man who have the chance to beat Stroll, Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) continued with problems from practice sessions and finished only on seventh-teen position.
