Fabio Scherer takes lights to flag win at the Sachsenring as Armstrong takes championship lead.

At the start, both Julian Hanses (US Racing) and Marcus Armstrong (Prema Powerteam) starting on front row were overtaken by Fabio Scherer (US Racing). The race was quickly interrupted as Kim Luis Schramm (US Racing) spun and took Felipe Drugovich (Van Amersfoort Racing) with him. After a couple of laps under the safety car, the race restarted and Julian Hanses went into the gravel from P3, only to retire into the pits.

The race was interrupted twice more, first to retrieve Tom Beckhäuser’s (Mücke Motorsport) car from the gravel and once in the end when Cedric Piro (Piro Motorsport) found himself pushed into the gravel and this led to a chequered flag crossed under safety car.

Fabio Scherer took his maiden win of the season ahead of Marcus Armstrong who took championship lead and Sophia Flörsch (Mücke Motorsport) who scored her maiden podium in ADAC F4. Nielsen, Vesti, Vips, Waldherr, Aberdein and Estner completed the top 10.
