Emil Bernstorff won first victory in the GP3

After Saturday’s race were fined Alex Fontana and Alfonso Celis, whereby had to start the race from the pit lane. Because of problems with the engine turned into the pit lane Nikolay Martsenko. 

After the warm-up lap has decayed car of Marvin Kirchhofer, who had to start the race fourth, so it is also rolled back to the pit lane, and the rest of the peleton went to another formation lap. Neither Kirchhofer and Martsenko eventually could not start the race.

At the start, pole-sitter Luis Sa Silva kept the lead, Nick Yelloly remained second. Already in the first corner collision occurred with championship leader and winner of the first race Alex Lynn, in which he had to go into the pits to replace the tyres.

At the end of the first lap Mateo Tusher get ahead Yelloly, taking advantage of his struggle with the leader, and he tried to attack Sa Silva. However Angolan opponent drove off the road, cars collided and Tusher gone. Sa Silva was able to continue driving, but was forced to go into the pits and returned to the track with a lag of a lap.

The first place went Stanaway, the second – Bernstorff, but already on the second lap Emil to get ahead of opponent, then quickly pulled away from him. Stanaway, meanwhile, began attacking by Jimmy Erickson, Yelloly and Roman de Beer. For four laps to go Erickson ahead and attacked Stanaway, and soon de Beer passed Yelloly.

Patrick Niederhauser meanwhile ahead first Dean Dzamparelli, then Patrick Kujala, and by the end of the race caught up with the group Stanaway – de Beer Yelloly, but the attack time is not enough.
