Joel Eriksson (Motopark) made it to the victory in the short Zandvoort Masters’ race, which is classificatory for tomorrow’s long one. Swedish demonstrated his domination from the start by grabbing the lead and leaving Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) battling with Niko Kari (Motopark)as both complete the podium.

Great dominance by Joel Eriksson (Motopark). The Swedish made it into the lead since the very first turn and despite not being able to set the pole for a hundredth of second. The poleman, Callum Illot (Van Amersfoort Racing), did not make a great start and so he lost first position to the Motopark driver, being unable to recover and finishing second.

The short race, classificatory for tomorrow’s – which doubles in distance – had a probable wet forecast, but rain would not appear during the competition and sun would shine during the twenty minutes the race was on. Temperature was high and so Kumho tyres installed in Formula 3 cars ended visibly worn.

On his side, David Beckmann (Kfzteile 24 M?cke Motorsport) finished ninth, earning a position after starting the race from the tenth place of the grid. Without many more interesting movements on track, race finished with three drivers on the pits for engine issues, Vaidyanathan, Herta and MacLeod.
