The final round of the Williams and Gulf livery contest is on, as Jeremy Clarkson lives up to his promise of a pint for Alpine F1 team.
Williams –
We’ve teamed up with Gulf to bring you, our fans, the chance to pick the livery that Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant’s FW45s will run in Singapore, Japan and Qatar later this season. Four liveries. One winner. Your choice.
Round 1 saw ‘Bolder than Bold’ vs. ‘Contemporary’ and Bolder than Bold came out on top to reach the grand final. Round 2 pitted ‘Heritage’ against ‘Visionary’, with Heritage emerging victorious.
The Final is now open, but which livery will win – Bolder than Bold or Heritage? You have until 12pm BST on 23 June to vote for the design that you want to adorn our FW45. As part of this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Williams Racing will be out in full force. Several iconic cars will take part in the hillclimb with Williams Racing drivers and ambassadors behind the wheel, the winning livery from the Williams Racing x Gulf fan voted livery competition will be on display for fans to see and much more.
The winning livery from the Williams Racing x Gulf fan voted competition, will be exclusively displayed on an FW45 showcar at the Williams Racing stand where fans can see the livery up close. The winning design will then appear on both FW45 race cars over the Singapore, Japan and Qatar Grands Prix.
Alpine –
During the Monaco GP, former Top Gear host Clarkson tweeted that he will buy Alpine a pint if they finish on the podium. The team eventually did so courtesy Esteban Ocon in third and Clarkson has lived up to his promise bringing in the bottles in a tractor.
