Williams is another F1 team to undertake a TPC programme with Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz – their first of 2025.

Having had his first go in Abu Dhabi in 2024 in plain overalls, Sainz had his first chance to drive the Williams F1 car in Barcelona in his 2025 colours earlier in the week for a Testing Previous Car programme alongwith teammate Albon.

It was first TPC run for Williams in 2025 and first with both Albon and Sainz. They completed a two-day programme, following the likes of Ferrari, Mercedes, Visa Cash App RB, Sauber and Haas to such an outing utilising the FIA regulations for testing.

While McLaren hasn’t undertaken a TPC run so far but they took part in multiple Pirelli tyre test for the 2026 F1 season in Paul Ricard and Barcelona.
