Wehrlein fit to race

#94 Pascal Wehrlein, Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM

After two months of uncertainty, German driver Pascal Wehrlein had been declared fit to race, allowing him to enter the second week of testing in Barcelona.

Pascal Wehrlein, following his ROC accident, had been said unfit to race, forcing him to step off for the first tests in Barcelona and giving the opportunity to Antonio Giovinazzi to make his debuts in F1.

While some rumours evoked Charles Leclerc racing in Melbourne for Sauber, both the Swiss team and Wehrlein confirmed today that Wehrlein was now fit to race for the second week of testing in Barcelona, two weeks prior to the Australian Grand Prix.

Present at Barcelona, Wehrlein showed himself confident about his physical condition and said he was getting prepared as usual for the Australian Grand Prix. He will however have two days less of running than Marcus Ericsson.
