Mark Webber was the fastest man in the last and very strange free practice season.
As we all know the Saturday practice session has 60 minutes to complete all kinds of tests before qualifying, but today was an exception and this practice session has lasted only 30 minutes because in a previous career, a Ferrari 458 Italia has impacted into the barriers and they have had to be repaired before the F1 cars jumped to the track.
By law they can not be less than 2 hours of time between free practice 3 and classification, that is why this free practice have had to be shortened the entire period for the repair.
The track was very humid and drivers have come out with extreme wets and intermediates, making several laps, everyone but a Caterham and Williams who have gotten to the stay in the pits waiting for the track to dry. When the track was in optimum conditions, the drivers changed and chose super-soft tyres for the last laps and grab some confidence with the track and these tyres for classification.
Behind Webber finished Sutil, Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel, Rosberg, Di Resta, Massa, and Button.
