Video: Perez gets Red Bull F1 base tour; as McLaren extends Splunk deal

Red Bull has shared full video of the visit from Sergio Perez to get a tour around the team’s facility and get his seat done, as McLaren extends deal with Splunk.

After his visit to the Red Bull F1 base at Milton Keynes early in January, the team has shared a full video this week showcasing Perez getting a tour around the huge facility in the United Kingdom. The Mexican is taken through all the departments one by one.

During the tour, Perez met Christian Horner and Adrian Newey along with Red Bull F1 team heads like Jonathan Wheatley and Pierre Wache. He goes through all the buildings and completed the tour with his seat fit before leaving to prepare on his own.

McLaren extends deal with Splunk:

With not a lot changing from 2020 to 2021 F1 season, McLaren is keeping its head straight as well, especially in terms of its partnerships. After extending it with CNBC and also Coca Cola, the Woking-based outfit announced the same with Splunk Inc.

The data company joined hands with McLaren in 2020 and will continue in 2021 as well in a new multi-year partnership to be its ‘Official Technology Partner’. The logo will feature on the race suits of the drivers and the sidepods/cockpit of MCL35M.
