The Spanish driver, Carlos Sainz Jr. has won the Race 2 of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Monza, Italy. The Spaniard starts who starts from pole position, leads the way during the race and finally got the victory followed by Stockinger and Sirotkin.
The top 4 didn’t have any battles, so Sainz (Dams), Stockinger (Lotus), Sirotkin (Fortec Motorsports) and Luca Ghiotto (International Draco Racing) finished well the race but the fifth place was so fought with Jazeman Jaafar (ISR) and Pierre Gasly (Arden Motorsports).
Gasly took the place at first very lap, and Jaafar overtakes the French cutting the second chicane. But Gasly some minutes later got the place. Jaafar but, had problems to remain at sixth place. Nikolay Martsenko (Comtec Racing) who starts form 12th position did an incredible comeback, fight so hard with Fantin for the seven place and after that, the Russian catch Jaafar and overtakes him easily.
In the ninth place finishes Roberto Merhi (Zeta Corse) who did a really good race, but the man who demonstrates an incredible performance was, Oliver Rowland (Fortec Motorsport). The Briton, who starts from P15, stalled on the formation lap and was being pushed to start from the pit. The comeback was amazing, and he did a mega manoeuvre to take his finally race position, tenth, overtaking Amberg (AVF) from outside at Ascari turn!!!
The yesterday winner, Will Stevens (Strakka Racing) has a bad race starting from P14 and crashing with Will Buller (Arden International) who also retires of the race. Sørensen not finished the also as well due to a gearbox problem. Meindert Van Buuren (Pons Racing) made a spun and also not classified.
