Sebastian Vettel was again unbeatable in qualifying and led the pole of the South Korean GP without too many problems ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber. We recall that the Australian is penalized ten places and Grosjean with his Lotus will be in thatposition. Alonso starts from the fifth position.
The qualifying started with a matched Q1, in which sixteen drivers finished very close, in less than a second. Few things to note, with a Mercedes and a Red Bull that used supersoft tyres, unlike all the rest of the grill. So Raikkonen achieved the best time ahead of Rosberg, Hulkenberg and Alonso. Di Resta and Webber, from Red Bull were saved by little, while the two Williams were eliminated. It hurts to see the situation of a team that has so many victories and championships. Hamilton was placed in provisional pole ahead of Webber, Grosjean and Rosberg until Vettel came as a thunderbolt to get two tenths to the British. The second round of laps, none of the leaders lowered their time, and they lacked the mark time. Fernando Alonso was sixth ahead of his teammate Massa and the two Sauber. Raikkonen was tenth with a slow lap.
