Red Bull Racing drivers have shown the best time in Saturday morning practice the British Grand Prix marked by numerous errors due to heavy rain.
Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel drove his best lap of 1.52,522 shortly after the middle hour session, ahead of one-tenth of his team-mate Daniel Riccardo.
Mercedes drivers does not show time, although leaving the pits. While Lewis Hamilton was a very unpleasant episode in turn Stowe, almost ended failure.
Pastor Maldonado has brought to Lotus an unexpected result of the third, and his partner Romain Grosjean emphasized good form team in the wet, with second gap closing the quartet’s strongest.
They were followed by Sauber driver Adrian Sutil and Daniil Kvyat of Toro Rosso. While Russian drove the greatest distance – 15 laps.
At the last minute Jules Bianchi flew to Stowe and crashed the car on the fence, though not very strongly.
It is expected that the rain will continue until qualifying, although its intensity varies over time, so that the teams will probably have to choose the right moment to check out on the track.
