On a drying track a young talented driver once again showed his fighting spirit, winning the first race Formula -3 of the weekend in Germany, since he is a member of the program Red Bull Junior Team for young and talanted drivers. Antonio Fuoco took second place and Antonio Giovinazzi has closed top 3 on the podium.
Wet atmosphere for race 1 of Formula -3 at Nurburgring, but it is not raining anymore. Some cars on slicks, other on wet. Max Verstappen is starting from pole, ahead of Edward Jones, Santino Ferrucci and Esteban Ocon.
After three laps Antonio Fuoco is leading in front of Max Verstappen and Antonio Giovinazzi. Richard Goddard, who started from 20th position on wet tyres, came on 4th positon and next lap he climbed even 3th position. Tom Blomqvist overtake Esteban Ocon for 8th position.
Soon become new leader – Richard Goddard is P1 in front of Max Verstappen and Antonio Fuoco. Beginner of the championship Wing Chung Chang, who started penultimate, on wet tyre did his race very well as he goes on 5th position. Max Verstappen, who use slicks tyres, make attack on the Richard Goddard with wet tyres for the first position. In the second part of the race, track become is drying, so drivers with the slicks tyres are raising the rhythm. Soon Antonio Fuoco and Antonio Giovinazzi also made overtake on Richard Goddard.
Strong battle was for 6th postion between Santino Ferrucci, Tom Blomkvist and Esteban Ocon, as Jordan King overtake them. In the last part of the race Jordan King overtake Richard Goddard for the 4th position.
Gorgeous battle between the three leaders on the last lap of the race, eventually Max Verstappen won first race at the weekend, ahead of second place Antonio Fuoco and third place Antonio Giovinazzi.
