Max Verstappen leads Lewis Hamilton in the F1 team chiefs Top 10 drivers of the 2021 season with Lando Norris ending up third.

The annual Top 10 drivers’ list of the 2021 F1 season as ranked by the 10 team bosses has Verstappen leading Hamilton and Norris in the Top 3, with the Dutchman scoring 213 points to the Brit’s 192 – a difference of 21 points. In the real table, the difference is of eight.

Verstappen had a record-breaking 18 podium finishes in 2021 with 10 wins against his name, while Hamilton registered 17 podiums with eight wins. While the Brit had one third place podium finish, the Dutchman never finished outside the Top 2 on the podium.

Going back to the standings, Norris scored 110 points to be third, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz was fourth with 85 and Charles Leclerc fifth with 70 – the Brit therefore joined both Hamilton and Verstappen to have crossed the triple figures.

Norris had four podiums in all of 2021 an finished 20 races in points from the 22 events, which was same for Sainz. At the same time, Leclerc had one podium against his name with 19 points finishes where among the three non-finishes, one was a DNS.

The returning Alpine’s Fernando Alonso was sixth with 69 points after he scored the one podium and 13 points finishes. AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly slotted in seventh with 64 points wherein he had similar stats of one podium and 13 points finishes.

Williams’ George Russell was eighth with 44 points after scoring one podium and points in four races, as he beat Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas (43) who had one win and 11 podiums in all. Alpine’s Esteban Ocon rounded the list with 41 points.

The Frenchman had one win and 13 points finishes. When compared with the real drivers’ standings, only the Top 2 finished in the same position. While Norris is third here, he finished fifth in the drivers’ standings, wherein Sainz was fifth and Leclerc seventh.

Likewise Alonso was 10th, Gasly ninth, Russell 15th, Bottas third and Ocon 11th in the real drivers’ standings. The 10 F1 team bosses who scored the drivers as per the points given in races, were Mattia Binotto, Jost Capito, Christian Horner, Laurent Rossi, Andreas Seidl, Guenther Steiner, Otmar Szafnauer, Franz Tost, Frederic Vasseur, Toto Wolff.
