Jean-Éric Vergne has won comfortably the eprix in Paris, which consolidates him a little bit more as a leader of the Formula E. Behind the French has crossed the finish line Lucas Di Grassi, after passing André Lotterer at the last laps. Sam Bird had compleated the pódium.
Due to a crash between Mitch Evans and Nico Prost the race had to be stopped. The French driver saw the New Zelander over him, and knew that the race was over for him.
In the reestablishment of the race, Da Costa locked up going totally straight which made him abandon the race.
The 3 cars in front Vergne, Bird y Lotterer Di Grassi left behind Di Grassi trap in the slow pace of Maro Engels. Behind the brasilian were Sebastian Buemi, Oliver Turvey, José María López and Felix Rosenqvist.
After 8 laps since the start Daniel Abt keep gaining positions from 15th place with an inside overtake to Rosenqvist getting to p9. Four laps later the German driver gains a position from López and placed himself eight.
Half way through the race, Engels was 5 seconds slower than Lotterer, who was p3 and Di Grassi very close to his rear wing.
After the drivers switch cars, nothing changed between the top 3, although Di Grassi got rid off Engels and focus on getting to the podium. However, Mortara , had a different strategy from the rest, he switch cars earlier than the other in order to have more energy than them at the end of the race.
Within 15 laps for the end, Di Grassi was 3seconds behind Lotterer. Vergne had a confortable gap from Bird, more than 2 seconds.
One lap later Lotterer overtook Bird with a controversial move. The German driver locked up diving to the inside, going straight almost into wall and not allowing Bird and making light contact with Lotterer. Two turns later Di Grassi also overtook the British from Virgin.
In less than 8 laps to go, Mortara hit the wall, trying to overtake López fighting for the 10th position.
One lap after Abt passed Buemi although the French driver overtook him at the last lap taking back p6, leaving the german driver on p7.
The main protagonist of the last laps were Lotterer and Di Grassi with a battle for the second place. When it seems that the German driver would keep the position, Di Grassi surprisingly gained the position. Lotterer ran out of battery and was hi from behind for Abt, who finished p3 but without a wheel. The German driver was p6, thanks to the incident Engel, finished p4 and Buemi p5, Lotterer p7, Rosenqvist p8, Turvey p9 and López p10.
