The young SMP Racing-backed Aleksander Vartanyan joins JD Motorsports for the interesting 2017 Formula Renault 2.0 season
JD Motorsport was the team of the also russian and SMP Racing-backed Matevos Isaakyan, who made an impressive first season in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS series, where he was third an near of Charles Leclerc, in the championship despite missing the first rounds.
Now the promising Alex Vartanyan will compete with JD in the promising 2017 Formula Renault 2.0 season with a lot of very good drivers, after a not so succesful but strong 2016 season where he finished 2nd in the Spanish F4 and 3rd in the F4 NEZ with a victory in the final race.
