Again, the GP2 championship leader is unstoppable and has shown it us again in this practice session disputed in Spa-Francorchamps. Behind him have finished Mitch Evans and Alex Rossi. Matsushita, Stoffel’s team mate, hasn’t had the same luck, and he has only been able to be 21st.

Just start this round of testing, at the Pouhon curve we have already seen the first shock of the session. After that, there have been a few minutes where there have been no incidents or off-tracks, and everything went smoothly. But when there were 30 minutes to finish, it came the next victim: Gustav Malja has suffered a spin and has stayed stopped and crossed at the chicane before the entry to the Pit Lane. Despite that, the marshalls were able to push the car to the corresponding garage without any problem. Finally, with the clock already stopped, Arthur Pic has gone a little with his car, but enough to leave the track.

So, Stoffel Vandoorne has returned to shine adjudging the best time ahead of Mitch Evans. Moreover, the Spanish of the category, Sergio Canamasas went better than expected, finishing in eleventh place.
