Week before the first stage of the Formula Renault 3.5, Pons Racing announced the name of first driver in 2014. They signed 19-year-old Dutchman Meindert van Buuren. Who will be his partner, is still unknown.
On account of Van Buuren is no special achievements – two years ago he played in the Nordic Cup Formula Renault 2.0, completing the championship in 11th place, and spent last season in Auto GP, where he became the 9th. Pons Racing team in 2013 took 12th place in the championship.
