The F1 US GP had all Mercedes show with Valtteri Bottas winning while Lewis Hamilton securing his sixth world championship.

Bottas only had four points to play with in F1 US GP at Circuit of the Americas with Hamilton all set to claim his sixth world championship. The British did not have a good Saturday as he managed only fifth with Bottas claiming pole.

The strategy game was on in the grand prix but Bottas eventually prevailed to take the win. His efforts though went in vain as a second place finish for Hamilton was enough to win him the title as Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen completed the podium.

It was a dismal run for Ferrari with Charles Leclerc only fourth as Red Bull’s Alexander Albon climbed back to fifth ahead of Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo, who fended off McLaren’s Lando Norris towards the end of the grand prix.

The other McLaren of Carlos Sainz was eighth with Renault’s Nico Hulkenberg in ninth from Racing Point’s Sergio Perez, who got 10th place after penalty to Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat after the race. Here’s how the F1 US GP panned from stats point of view:
