Unstoppable Palmer in Singapore

Joylon Palmer didn’t have any rival to wins the first race of GP2 Series in Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore.

The British starts form pole position but at the start of the race, the Carlin driver downs to P3 but after few laps overtook Leimer and after a good strategy, Palmer overtook his team mate with only 4 laps remaining and finally wins this race.

Completes the Carlin doublet, Felipe Nasr, who leaded the race all time but Palmer had more pace than the Brazilian driver.

Close the podium the ART Gran Prix driver, James Calado who made a peacefully race, but at the end of the race has the pressure of Leimer (Racing Engineering) who finally was overtook by Stephane Richelmi (DAMS) at the last lap.

P6 was Dillmann (Russian Time) who made a diferent race like other top10 drivers because the Frenchman starts with soft tyres and the other drivers started with the super soft tyres. P7 was Ericsson (DAMS), P8 so, a reverse pole position for race 2, Sam Bird (Russian Time) who is already on P2 in drivers championship with only 12 points of distance between Leimer. Closing the points, P9 for Lancaster and Dani Clos (MP Motorsport) was P10, getting his first point on GP2 Series this year.
