Bogotá, Mayo 1, 2026 – Colombian driver Tatiana Calderón is preparing to compete in the second round of the NASCAR Brasil Series at the Autódromo Internacional de Cascavel, a technical and demanding circuit that will mark her debut at this venue. Measuring close to 3 kilometers in length, the track is known for its fast corners, rhythm changes, and sections that demand high precision, making it a very different challenge compared to Santa Cruz do Sul.
Following a positive opening round, in which Tatiana scored points alongside the SG28 team, the focus for this weekend will be on consolidating what has been learned and taking a step forward in performance. The team has worked intensively on data analysis and simulator sessions to adapt to the demands of Cascavel, aiming to improve performance and continue evolving as a unit.
This event will also mark a new chapter for SG28, which will unveil a refreshed car livery featuring the colours of its new sponsor, Vogar. This boost adds to the support of key partners such as AVL Racetech, Fundación ConCora, and Karol G, who continue backing Tatiana’s sporting development. Additionally, the team maintains its distinction as the only all-female driver lineup on the grid.
Tatiana Calderón:
“I’m very happy to be back in action at Cascavel for this second round. It’s a circuit I don’t know, but one we’ve worked on extensively in the simulator to be as prepared as possible, as it’s a fast and technical track, very different from Santa Cruz do Sul. Since the first race, where we managed to score points, the entire team has been focused on learning and improving our performance.
My goal is clear: to improve on what we achieved in the previous round, continue growing as a team, and have a clean and competitive weekend in such a demanding category as NASCAR Brasil.”
The event, taking place on May 2 and 3, represents a new opportunity for Tatiana and the SG28 team to continue gaining experience, achieving results, and consolidating their progress in one of the most competitive categories in regional motorsport.
