Susie Wolff highlights key drivers in the fight for the F1 Academy 2026 title

During the 2026 F1 Academy season, managing director Susie Wolff has identified several drivers who could play a prominent role in the competition for the title. Currently, the racing series, which is exclusively female, is in its fourth season and has already held two races in this edition.

At this moment, Alisha Palmowski leads the standings with 78 points, followed by Emma Felbermayr in second place and Megan Bruce in third. Wolff, during a test held at Silverstone, expressed her impression regarding the quality of the group of drivers, who are distinguishing themselves in the competition.

“With the F1 Academy, we are always looking for the best young talents in the world to give them the opportunity to progress with some of the best junior teams and show what they can do on the track,” Wolff stated in a recent interview. She acknowledged that some drivers, like Palmowski, are demonstrating good performance, while others, like Alba Larsen and Ella Lloyd, are also notable competitors with great potential.

The director emphasized the importance of having a collective of talents that can seize the opportunity presented to them and highlighted the growing quality of the group. The third event of the F1 Academy will take place at Silverstone during the weekend of the British Grand Prix of Formula 1, from July 3 to 5.
