Stroll misses Thursday action in Dutch GP due to illness

Lance Stroll is forced to skip the Thursday action in F1 Dutch GP due to illness but Aston Martin notes he will be fit for the grand prix.

With the summer break done and dusted and the F1 circus returning to action with this weekend’s Dutch GP at Zandvoort, Aston Martin revealed about illness of Stroll. As a result of an infection, the Canadian will not be at the track for his media duties.

The team, though, clarified that he is fit to compete and take part in the weekend from Friday onward. Stroll was scheduled to take part in the official FIA press conference alongside his rivals, but naturally he will not be taking part in it.

“Lance is recovering from an infection and will therefore miss media duties today. He is fit and well and will compete at this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix. Lance’s open TV session scheduled for 1430 will no longer go ahead,” said a small statement from Aston Martin.
