Cian Shields has secured a full FIA F2 season seat with AIX Racing in 2025 to complete its line-up, after undertaking couple of rounds in 2024.

AIX Racing is happy to announce that Cian Shields will continue with the team in the upcoming FIA Formula 2 season. Cian Shields is therefore the second and last driver in the FIA Formula 2 line up of AIX Racing.

Shields raced in AIX colours in the final rounds of last season as he got his preparations for stepping up to F2 underway early. He will continue on with them alongside Joshua Duerksen, who was confirmed in mid-December. Last season, Shields completed his rookie campaign in FIA Formula 3, securing a best finish of 14th.

Cian Shields: “I’m super excited to be competing in FIA Formula 2 with AIX Racing for 2025! I can’t wait to get started and push myself to new limits this season and super excited to get to work, we worked very well together at the end of last year. A huge thank you to the team for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity to race under their colours.”
