The reigning champion of the WRC, Sebastien Ogier, has announced his intention to compete in the last four races of the season with the goal of claiming his tenth world title. His adventure will begin with the Rally Paraguay at the end of this month.
This announcement comes shortly after Ogier suffered a high-speed crash during the Rally Finland, where, despite being out of the competition, he was able to exit the vehicle unscathed. Both he and his substitute co-driver, Julien Ingrassia, were taken to the hospital, where they were under observation overnight before being discharged.

After retiring from the competition in Finland, Ogier fell to fifth place in the championship standings, sitting 62 points behind the current leader, his Toyota teammate Elfyn Evans.
