The IndyCar Grand Prix of Arlington will take place this weekend in Texas, marking the third event of the 2026 season. This competition features a new urban circuit of 2.73 miles, which will become the longest track on the IndyCar calendar, with 14 corners and a divided pit lane design, similar to that of the Detroit Street Course.
The race will have an altered qualifying format, where drivers will fight in individual sessions to qualify in the group of the six fastest. The current championship leader, Josef Newgarden, winner of the last race in Phoenix, will seek to maintain his advantage after a first victory of the season in St. Pete, where Alex Palou had obtained the year’s first triumph.
