Oliver Rowland takes his second pole position of the season that allows him to start first in Race 1 of Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Hungaroring. Egor Orudzhev and Matthieu Vaxivière completes the top 3.

Rowland (Fortec Motorsports) set the early pace during the first stint. Meanwhile, Gustav Malja (Strakka Racing) had to abandon the session after two laps.

At half point of the session, with every car in the pits, the fastest men yesterday, Matthieu Vaxivière (Lotus) led the field in front of Egor Orudzhev (Arden Motorsport), Tio Ellinas (Strakka Racing) and Oliver Rowland.

At the final minutes the drivers had a lot of traffic problems. Only Tom DIllmann (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin), Orudzhev, Dean Stoneman (Dams) and Rowland improved their lap times.

This helps to Rowland who took the pole position for second time this season.
