The GP2 Series post-season testing opened today at Yas Marina. In the morning session, it was Alexander Rossi who set the pace seventh tenths quicker than Johnny Cecotto who is behind the wheel of the Venezuela GP Lazarus car for the day.
F3 European Champion Raffaele Marciello was the best rookie with Trident Racing.
The session will resume at 6pm local time for a night session.
