Nico Rosberg took his Mercedes back to first place again in the second free practice session of the Singapore GP after Red Bull’s one-two in the first session. Kimi Räikkönen and Max Verstappen completed the top 3.

The track was colder than earlier after the night had taken over Singapore. Hamilton was fastest with the supersoft ahead of the Red Bull, but he didn’t try the ultrasoft so other drivers improved his time. The Ferraris went ahead first, but Rosberg set a better time, the best of the day: 1:44.152, 2 tenths ahead of Räikkönen‘s. Verstappen and Ricciardo were right behind him, while Vettel was already 1 second behind Rosberg. Hamilton was finally 7th, behind Hülkenberg, and he couldn’t even complete the session with high load of fuel due to a hydraulic issue in his Mercedes. Sainz, Alonso and Kvyat completed the top 10.
