Nico Rosberg starts this weekend in front of team mate and Sebastian Vettel’s Ferrari. Session was disturbed by unexpected tyre punctures that stopped the session twice.
Session was not starting good for current World Champion, as was he spun on first session minutes. Not much later, Felipe Massa‘s tyre went out the wheel, leaving debris on track and stopping the session for first time.
Same happened on second half. Hamilton spun again and Massa‘s tyre exploded. It seemed to be just a Williams’ problem, but later Kevin Magnussen broke suspension after another strange puncture.
Track was cleaned and session was restarted with just 8 minutes left. Rosberg got first position over Hamilton, although the german was reporting power unit issues while coming back to box.
