Romain Grosjean sets the pace before qualifying

Last session of free practice at Hungary, and the Frenchman Romain Grosjean has been the fastest driver of the weekend, with a best time of 1:20.730.

The third practice session has been very quiet at the start, more than usually. There were 32ºC degrees on ambient and 46ºC degrees on the track, and we expect the hot will increase for qualifying and race.

With medium compound, Lewis Hamilton has been the fastest man, 4 tenths ahead of Romain Grosjean and Nico Rosberg. Ferrari has not set a time until last 30 minutes of session.

On the last 15 minutes, we have seen the soft tyre in action, and times have fallen down almost 2 seconds for some drivers as Fernando Alonso that has finished in second place, 1 tenth behind Romain Grosjean. Sergio Pérez was the surprise with the third best time, but he has crashed at Turn 11 when there were only 2 minutes to go. It was a heavy impact, but the driver was fine. Now the question is if the mechanics will be able to repair the damage of the car until qualifying.

Red Bull has been hidden during the whole session, finally Vettel has obtained the fourth place and Webber the seventh place, but nobody thinks that it is their real position.

Mercedes has showed a promising pace with the medium compound, but their times with the soft one have been very disappointing, so maybe this time they cannot even fight for the pole position. Kimi Räikkönen has finished 11th, but he is expected to improve in qualifying session.

Esteban Gutiérrez has not been able to set a time due to a mechanical issue.
