The Australian of Red Bull, Daniel Ricciardo was the fastest during the third and final free practice session in Shanghai, China, in a wet condition, which has caused the non-appearance of many drivers on the track.
Starting the session in wet conditions meant that some drivers had to do their job with the intermediate tyres and others with the ones for the rain, when the track conditions were for intermediate and immediately, Kamui Kobayashi (Caterham), suffered an off-track in turn 6.
The problems have started to appear when Toro Rosso has seen something strange on the map engine. Something similar happened to Ericsson too.
Maldonado (Lotus), Perez (Force India) and Bottas (Williams) have been off-track, while teams like Ferrari have preferred not to go out because they anticipate that the classification will be in rain. Mercedes and Red Bull have also done very few laps. The latter team, thanks to Daniel Ricciardo has been the best time of the session with only 5 laps completed.
