Red Bull Racing Honda becomes the second F1 team to unveil its 2020 car, the RB16, as it keeps a similar livery but has a unique nose.
The new F1 car is to be powered by a Honda engine, as the Anglo-Austrian outfit has continued its partnership with the Japanese brand which started back in the 2018 season with Toro Rosso, before moving to the top team of Red Bull in 2019.
In the cockpit will be Dutch driver Max Verstappen and Thai racer Alexander Albon – who moved up to Red Bull from Toro Rosso (now AlphaTauri) full-time, after Pierre Gasly’s rough former half of the season in 2019.
As we have seen for quite some time, Red Bull retains the same livery with red, blue and yellow combination under the guise of matte finish. The RB16 will be driven by Verstappen for a shakedown cum filming day at Silverstone circuit.
The team will be looking to challenge Mercedes and Ferrari in 2020 F1 season after having made progress in one year with Honda. Verstappen will be looking to take on the mighty while Albon will look to beat his teammate at the same time.
